Our Purpose

To maintain a chiropractic practice in which doctors and staff work for the betterment of all patients.

To provide the most effective chiropractic care possible to all communities served so our patients may enjoy their God-given right to an optimum state of health and become lifelong patients.

To always remember our practice is a ministry to be used as a witness for Jesus Christ. As such, we will minister through caring, ethical and moral chiropractic care which helps improve our patients’ health. All doctors are also willing to share the Gospel to any who inquire and will pray for and with our patients upon request.

Meet Our Corporate Team

  • Dr. Ira V. Edwards II

    D.C./CEO

    Dr. Edwards graduated from Life University in Marietta, GA, with a BS in Science and Nutrition and a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1993. He established Palmetto Wellness in 1999 after working with Dr. Joe A. Willis, founder of Willis ChiroMed, for 6 years. His first location being in Marion, SC, has now expanded to 5 locations along the Pee Dee/Grand Strand area. He currently practices at the PWIC Florence and Myrtle Beach locations.

  • Teresa Edwards

    Corporate Director

    Teresa Edwards graduated from Western Kentucky University with a BS in Science and has been serving with Palmetto Wellness since 1999. She oversees our Marketing and Billing departments for all locations.

  • Karen Huntley

    Corporate Director of Billing/Collections & Human Resources

    She has been with Palmetto Wellness since September 2007. She serves all locations.
